LP-Roster : cyclic rostering  

LP-Roster automatically generates cyclic rosters and positions of rest days. Shifts are assigned to cyclic rosters while taking into account working condition constraints as well as personnel preferences.

Input data

• Size of the cyclic roster
• Number of rests to be positioned day by day
• List of work days or the number of labels (morning, afternoon, day, evening, night, etc.) to be positioned day by day
• Constraints and settings controlling the construction of the cyclic roster: maximum number of consecutive days worked, label sequencing rules, schedule constraints for the week or a cycle of weeks, label allocation rules, number of rest hours between two consecutive work days
   

Results

• Optimised cyclic roster: the position of rest days and the activity to be carried out each day, for each row in the pattern
• Key indicators for assessing rotation quality: number of isolated rest days, number of isolated work days, etc.
